Laura's Legacy

If there is one thing we can bring to the world to make it easier to live without Laura, it's laughter, so let's honor her memory in the way she would like best...be happy.

Oh, how they've grown!

Hard to believe, but this is a recent picture of Nick, Emily and Trevor. I'm sure Laura is amazed at how they've changed and watches with pride how they live their lives. They were her reason for waking up each morning, and the light of her life, even when they did stuff like spread a whole bag of flour and another of sugar across her kitchen floor. The hardest thing for her was knowing she wouldn't be there for them as they grew up, but I hope they know, without a doubt, that there is a part of her that lives in them and will be with them for the rest of their lives.

Light a Candle and Raise a Cup for Laura

Please join us tomorrow, August 30, by
"Lighting a Candle
and Enjoying a Cup of Tea
in Memory of Laura",
whom we lost to a rare bone marrow disease, myelo-fibrosis, Aug. 30, 2005.
Laura was a daughter, wife, sister, mother of three beautiful children (Nicholas, Emily and Trevor), aunt, cousin, and most of all,
"a most cherished and loved friend to all".

"Never Before you,
Never Behind You, Always Beside You"
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
We think about you in silence,
We often speak your name,
Now all we have are memories
And a picture in a frame.
Remembering you is easy,
We do it every day.
It's the heartache of losing you
That will never go away.
'Til memories fail and life departs,
You will live forever in our hearts.

Love from Laura's Mom and Dad (Sharon and Roger Fink)
